Digital Video Editing

Organic Media uses an Avid D-1 digital non-linear editor with SDI I/O and enough storage for 15+ hours of on-line resolution video. The Avid offers a film cut list for 16 and 35mm negative conforming. The output quality is as good as it gets for standard definition video. We can output to the format of your choice, including an uncompressed SDI pipeline direct to our Sonic Solutions DVD encoder.

We have a whole host of third party solutions for additional effects including component video to Ultimatte for high quality blue or green screen compositing, Elastic Reality for morphing and warping, and Commotion for paint and motion graphics.

Our editors have decades of experience in both pre-digital linear video and flatbed film editing, as well as working with digital NLE’s for about as long as those critters have been around. Long form, short form, documentary, feature, TV commercial, sales, training, travel, education, etc.—we LOVE to edit!
